East Maidstone Under Siege

Three major planning applications have been lodged in East Maidstone, partly in East Ward and partly just outside in Boxley.

These are a new application of 142 dwellings on the Maidstone Studios site in New Cut Road in blocks up to 4 storeys high, a car showroom on the corner of Eclipse Park and a private medical center, company headquarters and dwellings in 8 blocks, 2 to 4 storey high.

Local Lib Dems in North East Maidstone are opposing this siege upon our countryside which is being made prior to completion of consultation on the Local Development Framework process, which will establish Maidstone's future for the next two decades.
