Mote Park Rally addressed by local hospital clinicians and politicians

6.43.06pm GMT Sun 10th Dec 2006

It is essential Maidstone retains a full NHS service in our town. Our thanks to all those who responded and returned the NHS petition form which will be forwarded onto the NHS Trust on your behalf.

NHS Rally

Rally held in Mote Park was supported by thousands

We would also like to congratulate the 'Save Maidstone Hospital Services Group', who, supported by the Kent Messenger and the Downs Mail, organised the highly successful rally in Mote Park on Saturday 2nd December attended by over 2,500 local residents. Liberal Democrat Councillors, together with Councillors of all parties, will continue to campaign and oppose the unacceptable cuts to our Accident and Emergency, Maternity and other services.
