After losing by just seven votes in May, Liberal Democrat candidate Rob Field has been elected Councillor for Park Wood by a majority of 217 votes.

The by-election was held after the resignation of Labour Councillor, James Cook.

Rob's resounding success is proof that local residents back his commitment to tackle anti-social issues and improve quality of life. The newly-elected Councillor said, "I'm delighted I now have the opportunity to represent the people of Park Wood and work hard to address their issues and concerns. It's time to start fighting for our community."
