Light Up A Life

Although Christmas is a happy time for many, it's also a time to remember those we have lost. This year, The Heart of Kent Hospice is inviting people to honour the memories of their loved ones by joining their Light Up A Life procession and carrying candles over the River Medway.

On Sunday December 10th at 4.30, participants will start their walk from Lockmeadow, across the Millennium footbridge to a service at the Archbishop's Palace. The hospice hopes the event will be fully supported by the people of Maidstone and the surrounding areas and that funds can be raised to help maintain the services the hospice currently provides.

Light Up A Life

Candles will cost £2.50 each and there is a suggested donation for the dedication that will accompany each candle. More information is available by calling the fundraising office on 01622 790195 or by calling in to one of the hospice's charity shops.
