East Ward Councillor Dave Naghi, welcomed the new initiative. He said, "This is extremely good news for the people of Vinters Park. We will be bringing together the police, Maidstone Borough Council and the local residents association to focus on the issues that impact on quality of life. One of the first priorities of the group will be to survey all residents to ensure it has the full backing of the Vinters Park community and can effectively act on their behalf."
