Brian was born in Kent and has lived in the Borough for 44 years. For ten years he was the Chairman of the Maidstone Sports Advisory Council. He believes that we must bring back the slogan "Sport for All" facilitating the provision of a wide range of sports facilities at an affordable price and in protecting and enhancing our wonderful parks and open spaces. As a long time member of a local band he also understands the needs and requirements of cultural organisations both large and small and the importance of promoting the Hazlitt Theatre, the museum and all our other cultural assets.

Colin has lived in Kent for 22 years, the last 8 of which have been in Coxheath. He is a successful businessman, currently managing two manufacturing companies, and has previous experience of banking, finance, strategic planning, project management, commercial management and marketing. This wide business experience at executive level gives Colin an excellent basis for understanding the Corporate Services function within Maidstone Borough Council for the benefit of the electorate.
