Letter to KM

Dear Sirs

Mr M North's letter (KM 22 Jan) 'Smile it could just happen' thank you for giving us something hypothetical to smile about. I am not smiling due to real facts, that the conservative Maidstone Borough Council have closed our public toilets are spending four million pounds to tart up our High street, charging residents to park outside their own homes and trying to cancel the excellent freighter service. It's these facts that make me feel quite sad.
