Local Campaigner selected for County by-election

Liberal Democrats in Maidstone North East Division (North and East Ward) have selected local campaigner Ian Chittenden as their candidate for the County by-election.
Ian says, "I am delighted to be selected. Margaret Featherstone was a superb Councillor, loved the area and helped many local residents. If elected I will endeavour to keep up the standard which she has set."
Ian has lived locally in the area for over 35 years including almost twenty years on Vinters Park, He has been a major campaigner on local issues working with and supporting your Liberal Democrat Borough and County Councilors' for the last 20 years.
North Ward Councillor Jenni Paterson says, "I am delighted Ian is standing. He persuaded me to stand for election and as well as supporting me personally, he has produced all our Focus's, and has campaigned tirelessly on many issues.
